Would you call a person ugly?

I would never call anyone ugly. i find that really disrespectful.

Truthful but also not overly hurtful (hopefully).

For me the word ugly don't exist
Everybody is beautiful in there own way
I remember in elementary school someone had called me ugly and it really lowered my self esteem. Elementary for me was horrible -__-. But I eventually got up and became stronger

I was called ugly when i was 13-14 , and i've never felt beautiful or pretty in my life.

It's damaging and just nasty - if your not intrested just say not intrested i beg of you ahah

It started as bruised ego, but you guys have to remember that if you tell someone that they are ugly and they aren't worth anything that will then become their core belief - If you wouldn't say it to your mother, don't say it to any other girl ^.^ A good rule i thinks.

Haha... let's think of it as my affection for the little sister I never had.

Little kids can be brutally harsh. I hope your psyche isn't too badly damaged from that.

I always tell people that each one is brilliant in its own way, just like the stars. To a watcher from Earth, one person may shine as bright as the sun and another be the dim glimpse of a star a million light-years away. But halfway across the heavens, the dim star may be the fiery nexus around which all the planets revolve whereas our own sun the faint marker of an unknown world.

But yes all i've ever heard is ugly - i don't think people realise how harmful words are sometimes - it really really does do damage to a girl or a guy.
