Would you call a person ugly?

The only time I would ever think of calling someone ugly is when it applies to their personality, because to me that's what really matters. But even if I thought it I wouldn't say it to them. Why intentionally make someone unhappy? I can't follow that logic.

I would never call someone ugly physically because it was considered rude and it has bad karmic results, but I would said toward a mean, arrogant person who is rude, abusive and selfish that they do have an ugly personality.

I was called ugly as a child in school. I was nice and everything towards people but they still considered me to be ugly. Personally, I think that a person's spirit doesn't reflect on the outside until they open their mouth.
