Would you call a person ugly?

We asian, we all look alike.

I could pass off as Ben’s twin brother.

I do believe that every individual have its own unique feature. Being ugly will not be defined on your physical structure, but it tells about how your attitude be, your actions done and relationship built with one another. Strong relationship and good deeds make a human beautiful.

Perhaps if their attitude stinks

Excuse my French . Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. People that say that , is because they feel that way about themselves , they have to put someone down. Who cares what anyone says , it doesn't mean it's true. It's all a mental game. Never let anyone decide how you should feel about your self. ☺️

Yes. And I call some people stupid. There are many scales of measurement. For brains, IQ is how we measure., but there are 2 types of IQ: crystallized and fluid.
With attractiveness, it is more related to how we grew up, but symmetry, i read, matters a lot, too.
I am okay with using a word to describe physical attractiveness. If I can call a person gorgeous or hot or attractive, I see no reason why I can't use the opposite word. I'd only call a person that to his/her face if she/he was delusional.
Models have the right to be pretty and physically fit while people in MENSA or who are rocket scientists or physicists have the right to be called smart.
Beauty is relative to some degree and what is beautiful today might be seen as hideous or, more likely, ridiculous tomorrow.
Models should be gorgeous and fit/healthy; actors/actresses should be able to act well; singers should sing well (many can't); athletes should be fit and good at their selected sport.....
There are degrees of better and worse in every field or category. Physical beauty is more flexible and era-sensitive. The English dandies of a few hundred years ago would be seen as effeminate today. That horrid style of having an extremely high forehead in England from a couple of hundred years ago would also be seen as ugly or ridiculous today.
People have a right to their opinion and to what or who attracts them.
Just don't go around insulting people for no reason...that's all. But, if you're a 5 trying to tell a 10 that she/he should go out with you, you are delusional and may get called ugly.

So I never say that, when someone does not seem attractive to me, I simply say that he is not my type, but it will be for other people, for tastes there are colors :abrazo:
