Honestly I don't mind being short, but it does get on my nerves always hearing every girl I know talk about how "...I won't go out with someone shorter than me..." then the standard thing about heels etc etc...
Honestly though being short makes women wearing heels perfect. That puts me right at chest level with them... I could think of many worse things to be eye level with... hahaha
Well at least your finding a positive out of a disadvantageous situation...plus there are some things that guys can do to make themselves taller i think... umm i think korea they have these special inner soles that make you like 1-2 inches taller?
i think our dear leader had them on before he kicked the bucket but oh well...

It's not that bad when you consider the ones that would turn you down (derenek) are the ones that are on the shallower side, anyways. Maybe a bright side to it after all, eh?

Height, to me, is irrelevant. If your tall, great. If your not, still great.
Looks should be some of the last things to look for when choosing someone to date. What's the point of dating a Hottie if he's just going to be a jerk?

Not necessarily. People have their preferences. My cousins won't date a guy shorter than a certain amount. That's their choice, same as some girls that hold a harder line. You can't change preferences, but why would we really need to? Better to accept the fact while seeking out someone that cares just as much.

derenek wrote: lol, you make it sound like short guys can't be hotties...lol
Was that directed at me? Lol... No, I'm not. I'm saying that you will have people that you won't mesh with because they like different types of guys. Similar to how some women don't care for Asian dudes.
Realistically speaking, how large of the % of women you know will "not date" Asian guys flat out? 10%? 20%? Whatever it is, it's not that big. The vast majority might not have that hard of a preference, but they would prefer a non Asian dude or a taller guy in this case. I'm saying that it's a waste of time trying to change the "hard-liners". It's their choice, and their preference should be respected. Nothing to get emo over.
Those are generalities, though. Seeing if someone is receptive is pretty much all you need to know. Case in point, the first g/f I've ever had was 6ft. I'm quite a few inches shorter. If they like you, they like you. If they don't, they don't.
S'all about preference.
