It depends on how one defines friendship.

Why not? I have wonderful friends and I never had any other type of feelings for them

Maple and I are best friends and we are different sexes. He’s one of the most amazing friends I have ever had and for many years at that. It’s definitely possible to not be sexually intimate with the opposite sex. Not everything initiate and relationship related has to be romantic.

I think it takes a degree of maturity to be able to be friends with the opposite sex and not have ulterior motives. Maybe some ppl just don't got that. *shrug*

This is a sad but honest truth. I’m glad we have been able to make this work for so long. There’s so many things I can tell you and no one else, and frankly it’s nice receiving feedback on several topics via the opposite sex. Not saying that having a same sex BFF is bad or limiting but the perspective from the opposite sex is something that’s valuable to me.

No problem. I just hope I am a useful stand-in to give u insight into the opposite sex lol. I don't think having a same-sex bff is bad at all. I think its good to get more than one opinion so you can factor them in. Maybe there is something I missed and ur female friend fills in or vice versa.

I think its only limiting if u only have one opinion.
