If neatly true, that will ultimately make it easy for you to be friends only with all those girls. XD

So does your mum want to date you or want to be your friend?

^it sucks big time hearing "we can be friends"? coming from girls you attracted to strongly XD and most of the time i don't hear from the girls ever again that i wanted to be friends with. the last words they said was "okay" .

if your mum was categorized as girl you can ask her instead.

Yes, I do. I have some male friends that I had for years. There's a possibility there was some attraction there at one point or another for one or both of us, but typically nothing that would require a serious relationship. I think it's common to consider a person romantically, but if the person isn't each other's type, or you guys are already in a relationship, it's very easy to just not start a full blown relationship just because of a little attraction.

Yes... However I think the nature of seahorses gravitating towards other seahorses usually results from at least one seahorse finding the other seahorse attractive. The imbalance is what causes issues when trying to be 'just friends'. It usually sucks for whichever side is left wanting more than what's been agreed (friendzone). I've been on both sides of the fence, and when left wanting, it's usually best to simply remain acquaintances.

Where there is no mutual attraction, it's more ideal for this kind of friendly seahorse scenario to develop, but given nature and how attraction draws us to liking certain seahorses, there is usually some imbalance at play.

A potential red flag is a partner has all friends of the opposite sex...this could be a sign of seeking validation elsewhere on the regular.

Sure. But you cannot be a friend to someone you are sexually/romantically attracted to.
