in the long run I have never seen it work. at the latest when the other person has a partnership, the friendship can change quickly because jealousy can arise from the new partner.

I think it could/would be the uncomplicated kind of friendship and it is great to have a buddy but in practice it can be very difficult.

I had some male friendships, but mostly when they had girlfriends the contact was very little. everyone has their own life from a certain age, unless you are really best friends, you quickly distance yourself.

But I see my male friends like my female friends, just with different kind of humour and hobbys ^-^ I get along with both genders well as friendship, I was in the past secretly in love with a friend but our friendship was ruined after he found out and ignored me traumatic moment if u lose the person you like as friend too
