Yes, but there are specific conditions to be required.

1. There is no attraction beyond being platonic between either man and woman.

2. Nobody must be have any higher sexual motivation, or hidden agenda.

3. Both man and woman must be okay with having the relationship/friendship how it currently is, as aromantic.

It's possible. I've got some lady friends who are perfectly okay with being just that. But if anyone else has hidden feelings, or unreciprocated romantic thoughts, it can get messy.

I agree with this, other than maybe number one. You can have a physical attraction for each other, so long as 1) there are no hidden sexual/romantic agendas to said friendship, and 2) if both man/woman understand and are ok with the friendship as non-romantic. Now, yes, it is easier without this, but it can be done as long as both people are mature about it. For example, I know my best male friend is attractive, I can see it, I do have working eyes, and he says the same about me. Though, our bond is so much deeper, and our understanding and appreciation for our friendship, than to confuse it with sex/dating/relationships. We would never do anything to risk the relationship of the other with someone else, BECAUSE WE ARE FRIENDS, and FRIENDS DON'T DO THAT!

That being said, I do admit it is important we keep the relationship platonic, even when single, so not to blur lines. If you are hooking up when single together, and then getting in a relationship with someone else, and expecting to stay "friends", you are asking for trouble. I'm my personal opinion anyway.

I only had guy friends growing up.Women kind of annoyed me..So yes..You can be friends with men..Even had a crush on one of them and had feelings for him.It did not ruin our friendship though..He respected my feelings,Did not push me away.We are still friends to this day,he is married and had a kid as well.I do not let feelings usually jeopardize a friendship..I have no intentions of more,even if a stupid idea pops up,i might share it,but i wont act on it..I have good impulse control..I have had other male friends,where we slept in the same bed together(sounds bad,but they were like brothers to me) and nothing happened.Attraction or not..I believe it is common decency not to violate that persons trust..By not trying to take advantage of them at any moment..Some people do not understand this and will try regardless.I am thankful for the friends I have back in the US.That I grew up with..I am still the same,with any friends I make,though I am not perfect..Sometimes things happen that are unplanned and it gets me off kilter.sometimes friendships have to be ended...it happens...I am not used to anything more than just being friends..There are some things i miss but i am by no means desperate..

Yes. All four of my close friends are women. All of them are ridiculously beautiful. At least one of them is a professional model All are so pretty that they are high demand with international clients. They are also extremely well educated. At least one has two degrees. You are talking about girls look like early 20s but in reality is on their mid to late 40s. The only reasons I am not attracted to them is because I have a very different or even odd standard of what ideal beauty is like from vast majority of the people. To me all four of them are art pieces, and I am not gay. I think they ended up trusting me because I have no intention to pursue them plus after all we have different careers.
