No, because one of them usually falls for the other.

Most my friends are women. Also I’m really good friends with my ex wife and a few ex girlfriends. Relationships can change and being a mature adult allows you to remain close to someone that you care a lot about. Just because you fall out of love or if a love isn’t reciprocated doesn’t mean you have to stop caring for them altogether. I never understood how someone could care about another person than remove them from their life because they don’t get what they want or can’t control them selves. It’s very childish to me

i agree with you..I have always tried to be respectful and civil with my exs..though i did not always receive the same back from them..same with friends or non friends..i dont believe you have to throw a person away sort to speak and end all contact..I still care about people and try to keep them in my life..some people dont care though and force me to end contact..even if i want to talk things out and keep it friendly..Because i care for them..Some people just dont care that much back..Doesnt mean i care less or erase them from my mind..Kinda sad when people can just kind of pretend someone doesnt exist and kinda throw the person who cares away..Ive had this happen many times..like dang..why the hate?but people are people and some dont want maturity..They would rather run from problems instead of facing them..ive met two new guys online and met one in person..both didnt have the maturity to tell me the truth..one guy came over to visit and had a coffee with me, played my guitar a few moments..than took off and never spoke to me again..i was like wtf?maybe he felt odd because his english wasnt that well? I dunno..the other guy stopped talking to me and ghosted and than finally told me..im just too old to talk to..i was like wow..okay..maturity is hard and rare to find..im still looking..even just being friends is close to impossible if you dont meet the guys criteria..they run off on ya..i dont need ghosts..so thats ok..just s shame.I feel im dealing with grow up boys and not men..

Yes!

My best friend is a guy, we know each other now for 6 years, he is like a big brother and mentor for me.

When he start dating his gf, she was. Little suspicious about me but he talked her off lol

He is the coolest Chinese guy I ever met and I never would trade this friendship for anything else
