Yeah, I agree and disagree!
Only because it really does take two composed individuals who have the right mind and maturity to let something be as it was...buttt I also think it reallh depends on the actual context behind the relationship in the first place. Even though half the time, from what I’ve seen it doesn’t work out, I still believe it can somehow.

If we’re talking solely on some friendship, most definitely. I have a lot of friends who are males(?) but I feel like this thread has two different scenarios

Ironically it's harder for men to be just friends with a girl he deep down likes. He either makes a move or stays in the friend zone closet..

If it is a girl he doesn't like, then it's no issue. But i think the asked question is can a man and woman actually be friends if both are attracted to each other or at least one is attracted to the other?

So either you have the girl unintentionally stringing the guy along or vice versa. And if both are attracted to each other. Then you're only kidding yourself to just be friends.. Even more dangerous if one or both is already taken, married to other people.

and dependent on how one defines friendship. what some people call friends, would be acquaintances to me at best.

Yes, not because they are of different sex does not mean that they can not be just friends.

Yes it's possible. I always have/had more guys as friends than girls. Don't know why^^ And as a guy is not attracted to every woman they meet, I'm not attracted to every guy. Sometimes you click with someone but only on a platonic level.
