Omfg, I can't believe it. Someone in my generation actually is somehow willing to give one of the most difficult but profound literature a try. I finished this masterpiece at 15, and began to understand it years after because it has so many satirical terms and confusing metaphors, which have to do with the history, politics, and conflicts in Macondo, the metaphoric Colombia. Once I understood why the Buendia did what the Buendia have to do during these generations, it was a total mindfuck. I know there are a lot of names and ties to remember, but hang in there, the ending will surprise you and might even change your point of view of modern literature like never before.

Sorry for babbling. I am just too excited to express how much I admire your bravery on taking such challenging masterpiece. I truly respect your taste.

I recently read one of my favorite books of all time, "My Drunk Kitchen" by the amazing Hannah Hart. Love it!

Reading Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson now.

Scarlett is hell of a girl, isn't she? I hope you are reading about her transformation at this point.

No way, you also read the Ripley's Scarlett published in 1991?? I heard people criticize it for being inconsistent with the original story. I guess it wasn't a successful sequel.
