Unfortunately, the more time passes after a revolution and the longer a governmental institution/system runs stably, the more power it will try to accumulate ... Because the people at the top will always think that what they do is right and that they should have more power to enforce stuff more easily. They don't take into account that power needs to be limited, the less limitations power has the more devastating a bad person gets it into their hands ... It may be that another revolution is necessary to give greater liberty and power of influence back to the people.
