Jesus Christ! Why is it so hard to meet a right person?

Nah, don't think I set the bar high at all. It's just that the girls I see and ask out are all taken.

Maybe we are over confident , even if we don't know it.

I don't even think its the bar that is set high. Or actually, it could be HAHA. Shallowness will get you nowhere.

People are just liking the wrong people because too many people like to fake themselves. Giving people the wrong impression of them and then BAM! you get screwed over.

Too many games being played. Then again, this is just a game after all :\

It shouldn't be a game but if that's all it is, people shouldn't be complaining. Like they say, don't hate the player, hate the game. If ya'll hating the game, then don't be playing. Simple as that.

Well it is just my opinion hahaha.

To me, it just feels like a game on the hardest difficulty. Finding it really difficult to win at. But i believe this is a game that everyone has to participate in sooner or later. And it SHOULDN'T be a game but you never know when you're stepping into one or not. Which is why i just call it a game.

Of course as i said xD, just my opinion. You win and you lose.

haha true this is why i am single. I don't have time to try and figure out whether your playing or not. But you are right it is a matter of opinion, one that i will respect. (Not many people here respect opinions i noticed lol)

i have the same question... :/ most of the people these days are way too weird or like have this fake life to get their ''perfectly movie couple'' and when you just get to know them better its a differece that you don't even recognize them. well thats what i think....

Some of the best choices in life are overlooked. Just sayin'.

sad that the society looks like this. As a kid, I used to imagine love and romance when I had the thought of meeting my future wife. Like in the movies, boy meets girl, both fall in love, live happily ever after and that there would be nothing more than that. But now, growing up, it looks like a lot of people see this as a game and they keep the thought "I'll probably meet the one someday, so it's ok, just play on!" and "the one" is always some copy of prince charming or miss world "hence the setting the bar too high". Ofc this isn't the case for everyone, but I would think that it is for some people

I think it's important to keep searching for "The One" (insert The Matrix joke here) in spite of the tons of people (both male & female) that are just there to have fun & waste time. I'm like you, though. I always imagined the "movie love"... and I still do, albeit more pessimistically. A thing that I found that helps: be open to people & try to get to know them for the real them, but... keep in mind that their values might not be as wholesome as your own.

So in short, be cautiously optimistic.
