What interesting fact did you learn recently?

Our bodies under high temp. has a lower metabolic rate than usual as the body requires lower body heat to maintain its temp. to its corresponding surroundings.
As there is lower metabolism,less oxygen is needed to be absored into the bloodstream hence making the colour of blood redder.

This isn't anything new... just something I am sick of dealing with. It's when you know someone likes you but you don't feel the same and you feel bad you don't.. It doesnt happen often because my " sparkling" personality keeps those types away but every once in a while one comes along that tries to rise to the challenge. Or what they think is a challenge. Its not... They can't seem to get it through their thick skulls I have no desire to be with anyone romantically, sexually or whatever and even if I did they would be going about it all wrong. I'm not one to move fast. They think a little flirting and whatever and I'm going to be putty but then they finally start to realize it's not going to be like that and they try harder but I keep having to tell them I'm not interested. I don't feel anything for them...... and I hate it but it makes me feel bad. And then eventually they start to get angry.... its little things.... the attitude changes.. I get asked stupid stuff like " Do you want to be single for the rest of your life?" Personally I don't care if I am. Being with someone has never been a priority to me. If it happens fine.... if not whatever. I just hate feeling like I'm being guilt-ed into it.

you can't be guilted if he's not right for you. both of you will be happier once you find the right person and be glad you didn't choose someone before meeting them.

Oh I'm fine now.... he pretty much told me he wanted to have sex with me cause I haven't had it in so long. I'm naturally wary of anyone that shows interest in me anymore because I know they will eventually reveal what they really want or think of me. if I could describe my feelings in weather speak when it comes to this... I'd say 100 below zero or something like that. . Deadly cold.

but what about companionship? i would like to have your attitude about relationships (no over attachments) but with a desire for companionship (and a little bit of love). i think it would make life more fun & rewarding.
