I learn that it was China that first used the term "Hallyu" as responding to popularity of "K-dramas" in China. South Korea took the reference of expression from Chinese media, and started to use the term "Hallyu" to describe "Korean waves" in other countries.

As of right now (and probably in the future too), in JS (and proably other languages as well) there doesn't exist any library that can handle time zones correctly. The only thing you can do is to reduce the amount of error you produce when working with time zones. :side:

TL; DR: Time zone is a b..... :silence:

Today I learned that Linux is a b..... :silence: .. I knew that before, but apparently one is confronted with this fact sporadically...

I thought this, too, but got kicked in the *bleep* really hard when I found out that my hard work was worth nothing compared to a frustrated coworker with more work experience who was afraid I could maybe possibly take her place in the company (which was not going to happen anyway due to different levels of experience and exams - but yeah).
Experienced the finest way of mobbing right from this *bleep* and the boss as well - they were a great team.

So what do we learn from this? Be careful of whom you give your trust to. Nothing is for granted.
Know your abilities and in the worst case, look for a place which appreciates the work you do.
