You should do some FBI, CIA stuff, get another girl to pretend to like him, talk and get him to meet with her, and after he most likely will pull the same trick and play the same cards, you can get someone on stand by to catch this jerk.
To a comment to someone that made before, I am sure this is not everyone, but some guys from China, are more aggressive, and don't know the word no, means no stop, and they are pushy. I had similar result with a guy here, but he was very good in hiding things for some time. My friends met him, and etc, Chinese police doesn't care about this.
Asian-.... from my experience, would be more afraid of the law, but this is just experience from people and friends and etc, but they were not aggressive and pushy.
There are all sorts of people everywhere. Lets hope we meet the good people, and the bad ones get arrested.

Yu_Ki wrote: Well glad you are safe. I guess a few tips (and ya most of you probably already know)
-Always meet people in coffee shops, mall, or somewhere that is very public.
-Never go anywhere without letting at least one friend know where you are going, no EXCEPTIONS!
-Anticipate where the date may go just in case he tries to pull a "new" place you haven't heard of.
-Better yet, if you have a sidekick, take that friend with you. It wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion on the guy?
-Probably never a good idea to leave with the person you just met; go to more dates first to feel out this guy.
It's more about being transparent with people who care about you so that you're safe, but also so that you can get different honest perspectives.
I honestly don't like online dating. I rather do group dates or meet someone who's going to my school. But here I am regardless. Just be safe and kick some a$$ when you have to.
I completely agree with this especially the part about letting someone know where you are!
Lol, when I met my now-husband for the first time in person, my parents demanded I text them saying I was ok every 2-3 hrs and call when I was leaving to come back home. I scoffed at the time at how ridiculous they were being, but hey, better safe than sorry.
Anyway, bumping this because it's super important for girls to be aware of these types of things.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I know what it feels like.. ( I really do, I lived something similar )
Just take care of who you date next time.. and first time you meet someone don't go alone. That's what my mom used to tell me, haha.
Anyway, good news is you're okay! ^^

Yea I agree right here. If you are really bent on catching this POS, make a new fake profile on POF and flirt with him for a bit. After a couple of exchange ask to meet at a different location. However, before heading out there get the police involved. If he's dumb enough to show, then bam, you have caught him.

but here we are, if he was a mass murderer, you wouldn't be able to write about that in here to warn others...so please be more cautious next time.
don't get into cars of strangers, even if you know them from the internet (especially if you JUST know them from the internet, don't meet up in empty areas or worse, at home, and please, if you realize he/she is not the person from the picture (come on, slight resemblance is exactly the same as not being the person, i know ppl having a slight resemblance with Tom Cruise, yet i would never come to the conclusion, that must have been an older picture of them) -> RUN LIKE HELL!

So it's been a little while since I posted this and I just wanted to give an update. First though, let me thank ALL of you for your kindness and support. From random strangers to the admin here at Hey-Ai, I feel so so lucky. Everyone has really helped me work myself through this and I'm grateful.
However, I regret to say that the man has not been found, and the prosecutor in this area will not file charges for sexual assault (aka, sexual imposition which is defined as unwanted physical contact in a sexual manner) because of the lack of evidence. Yes I had marks from him, but without his plate, the make/model of his car (there are too many of the same color and SUV type in the area to even try to find) and without his REAL name or location, etc., there isn't anything they can do. As hard as it is for me to swallow, I am going to take this as a lesson and I hope that you guys will too.
I NEVER thought I was stupid enough for this to happen to me. I've had many successful relationships that started online and have never had any issues with them. I thought I was being safe, and obviously I was wrong. Ladies and even gentlemen -- because yes, sexual assault happens to everyone -- please be safe okay? People have suggested Skype and things like that, do it. Snapchat, anything like that. Before you meet someone, do a Google Image search to weed out potential frauds.
Thank you again to everyone for your amazing kindness and support. <3
