is your best friend when you find suspicious profile picture.just upload that profile picture and google will tell you if it's fake

Normally someone titled they are Chinese or korean, probably they are some other asians.

Gao Yi Xiang from Taiwan, and he is Canadian now, 6'3"

Webcamming is NOT enough:
make sure he/she is interacting to your request. Otherwise catfish is using a video stream through webcam.

Im sorry and troubled about what happened to you since ive lived something similar.

Im glad nothing else happened and that you reported it to the police, many people dont report when such things happen so I believe you did the right thing.

Sucks that they could not find him but at least they tried.

And thank you for posting as it reminds everyone, myself included, to stay carefull when meeting poeple on the internet.
