A Warning to ALL Women in the OH/KY/INDY Area

I'm so sorry that this happened to you and that you found out that this person is a real predator. You could at least report that person's account to POF HQ as soon as possible. Sadly online predators are everywhere all around the world. But I'm glad that you take the courage to tell your true story to warn others to be careful for who they are meeting online. Luckily I didn't attract predators because I usually question people and ask them for webcam and if they refuse to show me their faces on skype, I delete them and know that they are fake. I would never show up on empty or abandoned environment without people around because its dangerous. Even my own cousin is overprotective and make sure that my date is the right person or else I would leave. You have to do what you can to protect yourself from predators like contact the police, friends or relatives that lived near you.

I'm terribly sorry to hear this experience. His sincerity and naivete was given unsafely, without meditating things well.
Good. There is always a first time for everything.. In love, friendship, trust, experiences, disappointments, in knowledge, in learning ..
Just do not make the mistake again and take precautions.. Sadly in all parts of the world there are good people with disinterested intentions and bad with hidden and sinister intentions. For all people in general, Before meeting someone personally, You must investigate, analyze and verify if everything is correct about the person .. If you have a doubtful photo, demand more real photos or a video call. In this way you will know who you really are. If that person does not want to do it. The best thing is to avoid it or block it.
When these situations happen, people, they should make a formal complaint to the police of their state where the person resides and demand for the authorities to communicate with the legal representatives of the applications that you use for them to make revisions of their VPN / IP records associated with the type account, that will reveal your true identity and address.. It is very helpful.
If you are going to contact strangers, take precautions under your responsibility.

He used photos of Godfrey Gao in his profile, but I did not know who this was and I've met people online before. I never really thought to check. Perhaps you think this makes me stupid or that I deserved it, and if you think that it's okay. I was pretty dumb and naive.

I met him at a coffee shop around 7:30 pm. Around 8:30, he asked me if I'd like to go to the park. If any of you know the Mason, Ohio area... you're pretty limited in terms of date things to do. I love going to parks, so I agreed. He said he wanted to take a walk, so we went to the park. He parked in a secluded area -- I had never even heard of this park, so I didn't know if it was a well-used area or not until later) and proceeded to try to force me into things. Luckily I was able to get away before anything major other than groping happened, but I did tell him to stop. He bit me, left nail marks, and hit the back of my head on his window during my struggle.



Ladies, please be aware of this guy. If he uses any sort of "bendqr" or similar in his name and uses a picture that looks a little too handsome to be just some average guy, double check. I should have. I know how dumb I was because of this. I reported it immediately, but without a real photo, a license plate, or his real freaking name there is VERY LITTLE the authorities can do. So, I'm passing this along.

Something similar happened about 5 years ago. An Asian guy on an AMXF site hit a girl when they first met. They were sitting in her car and she disagreed with him about something. Oddly, she said he LOOKED a bit like Godfrey Gao. I don't remember the area of the USA, but I think he was Chinese.
I met a Chinese national who some might say looked like Godfrey Gao -but with an uglier face and better body. He said he had a masters in physical therapy. During sex, we had a slight disagreement and he made a move pretending to choke me....and made an intimidating face to let me know he was willing to. It scared me. But, i took photos of his license plate the minute he pulled up and told him I was posting them to a friend in case anything happened. So, I do know his name. Before we met, I traced his email, too, so I know what city he lives in. And he is just over 6'. His photos online were 6 years old and his face didn't look the same. He kept saying he was too busy to Skype and, at the last minute, when I insisted, he Skyped from his vehicle and the camera was far away and at an odd angle...I couldn't see him very well.If it sounds like the same guy, let me know. I may know his real last name.

It must not be the same guy.... idk.But, it could be the same guy as the other woman...the one who got hit.
