What is your reason for not drinking alcohol?

also, happens to me. i've always wondered about this. somebody recommended me to take a pepcid before i drank. it worked... not sure why. maybe i should ask this in the professor thread.

Stopped drinking exactly a year ago. Decided to devote myself to religion more.
Best thing I've done so far.

I get the asian flush too when I drink. This 9/10 times prevents that when taken an hour or so before drinking. If you drink too much though then it'll be too much for the drug to handle.



One type of drink that almost never gets me red even when not taking the Pepcid's is: Rum. It's made from sugar so that might be the reason why. I drink that stuff with just a couple ice cubes too .

I don't drink because of health reasons plus I'm really uncomfortable around drunk people not aware of what they're doing

Really, I like being drunk. It's fun when you're in a safe palce with your friends. Most of the time. For me anyways.
I'm a happy, hyper, care-free affectionate dunk lol and for some reason I recall languages better when I'm drunk. I have no idea why but I appreciate the super power.
