What is your reason for not drinking alcohol?

Not that I'm going to stop drinking, but I've taken considerable measures to watch what I drink, how much of it I drink, and who's around me while doing so.

For me, a reason to stop drinking would be the fact that I could possibly give a f**k what happens when I'm drunk.
My subconscious is alive somewhere in me when I'm intoxicated, and while it yells at me to stop whatever embarrassing or stupid actions that I'm about to do,
the drunk side of me persists. It's in that moment where my subconscious truly gives in and makes me believe that whatever I do will have little to no consequences and every idea is a good idea.
This is how one could lose themselves. It's insane how a small beverage drink could cause this much alteration to the human conscious.
