Does the friend zone exist?

In case you haven't figured it out, this week is my week of exploring dating-related questions on my YouTube channel. In this video, we ask the ladies (and some lads) whether the friend zone actually exists (and whether it's that simple)



What do you guys think? Is the friend zone a myth? Can guys and girls be friends? Is it more complicated?

Have you ever gotten a date making these videos?

Yeah. However, it's actually better just to be professional. It would make people less apt to talk to you on camera if they heard you're going to try to pick them up afterwards

Tell her you are bi-sexual or can only marry an Asian girl or that she needs to gain/lose weight or get a boob job or do ass-exercises... and, you could get friend-zoned. Or, tell her you like anal sex (that might do it), or like to dress up as a cartoon character to have sex or like other weird things...and you could get friend-zoned. Or, that you cannot choose between Asian and Caucasian so must always have both (one as a wife, the other as a mistress) and get friend-zoned - a guy told me this...and, I have heard a few of the above, too.

Or, cry too much in public about how your parents don't love you enough and don't give you money for anything (when you are 30 yrs old).....FRIEND-ZONED ! Say the wrong thing about a 12 yr old girl's body and you will be friend-zoned. Laugh too hard at your friend's jokes that are too raunchy/immoral - about rape or incest or underage girls- and not be shocked or mad....friend-zoned.
Tell the person you like you got an STD....friend-zoned...esp. if it is herpes which stays with you for life.

There will always be an underlying sexual tension/attraction on the part of at least one of you...but, you can't come back from the friend-zone usually.

Thanks for asking though. The question makes sense because all the recent videos are dating-related. What channels do you follow?

Currently, I mostly keep up with Eatyourkimchi and David So and JustKiddingNews.

Wong Fu Productions is my end-all favorite though, just haven't been keeping up with them. I also like The Riedell Brothers and the Fu Brothers. Those two were actually both contestants on a pretty good who'll-be-the-next-youtube-star series that I liked.

These social experiment videos are fun to watch, but I don't really keep up with any one YouTuber who does them.

Cool! I will check out the Riedell Brothers, Eatyourkimchi, and Fu Brothers. I've been a David So, JustKiddingNews, and wong Fu fan for a while.
