Just like when a random guy says to you 'princess' and you ignore him, immediately the 'princess' turns to a 'bitch'. So pitiful.

To be fair, completely ignoring someone's presence is a pretty bitchy response to a question. I get that some women dislike being called terms of endearment by strangers, but I don't see it as a hostile question. I use terms of endearment all the time and that is accepted in some places. It can also just be poor social skills. You can choose the bitchy responses or simply stating politely that you do not like being called princess. I see what you're saying, but the first example was hostile without provocation other than saying no and the second isn't. If you act bitchy, people might call you a bitch. It doesn't mean that you ARE one, but you could be acting like one.

Well, I think using those terms of endearment is ok to a point. What really makes the difference is 'how' they are used, the tone in the speech. (Virtual aside) I think it's completely acceptable when the person means to be dear, but I (personally) don't like when you're seen as a piece of meat. But that's my position; there are people who don't mind any of the situations, but that's their problem.

If he called you porkchop, I would totally agree. If the way they see it is just their problem, then the way you see it is just yours too. You get more out of simply telling them how you feel about the choice of words than choosing to ignore it and being upset when they call you a name. Seems like it would feel better to enforce your boundary beyond reproach than invite someone to cross it again. Just saying.

I'm not saying it's other's problem if I don't like it. It's simply a waste of their time trying to get a girl like that they just see passing by they don't even care who she is as they only see a body shape. And why the girl should stop to say to the stranger how she doesn't like it as this type of guy don't even care if she likes it or not? 'Oh, please, be more considerate to the poor guy'. If he was to be considerate, he wouldn't feel the need to say 'bitch' because he was ignored. Such type is pityful. But if you don't see it a problem, good for u to be a so good and comprehensible person.

I'm not suggesting you do it for him. I'm suggesting you do it for yourself. It feels better to forgive than to be angry. Enforcing a boundary is better than allowing one to be crossed.

It is a way of altering your emotional perspectives to provide yourself with the best possible outcome. Let him worry about his own emotions.

I don't get 'angry'. When that occurs to me, I just ignore the guy. I think that's the best to do. I just wish guys didn't do that. That's all.
