Personally I feel quite intimidated by the girls with thick eye shadow esp non-asian girls. It makes it very fierce when she stares at someone. Who also feels this way?

It's a common thing in the uncompetitive male population. You're essentially looking for any excuse to avoid wasting time pursuing a woman who displays signs that she's out of your league. Don't worry about it; it's actually the sensible thing to do given that the odds favour these women being casual players who are interested in hot guys and little commitment.

And for women. Take into account that by dressing up and looking fancy, you're attracting a higher class of guys who have *options*, so more players. By looking more homely, you'll probably attract guys not as "alpha" but with a higher desire to commit.

The only reason why I wear the make up I wear, is simply because it gives me a bit more confidence and also because I have a bit of a passion for make up and creating new styles.... I don't do it to attract guys and I definitely don't care who I attract...

Well, it's something to consider if you find yourself constantly attracting "the same" group of people, and you're not satisfied with that selection.

There's a reason why many guys value "approachability". It's not all about smiles, but more about eschewing the posh-glam look that signifies a party girl looking to marry above her status.

A littler F.Y.I. for the boys here, girls mostly dress up and make themselves up to out do other girls who might be around. I guess we all want to seem like the 'alpha' female or maybe just the most glamorous girl in the room. I put make up on and dress up to make myself feel pretty, and to be one of the better looking girls in attendance
