*shrug* We can agree to disagree. You're obviously looking for someone with different tastes than me. And I've obviously got what you consider to be inaccurate prejudices.
I'm sure we'll both find different people who suit us and be perfectly satisfied with them.

Of course. I'm just using the extremes of hyperbole to illustrate my point.
Another thought. Culture is a bit different in East Asia vs North America vs Brazil. Behaviour and attitudes in East Asia would be consider prudish and boring in Brazil. Likewise, behaviours and attitudes in Brazil, if done in East Asia, would be considered scandalous and abnormal. Different sensibilities. I'm just trying to explain to you the East Asian method of thought.
Of course some of this is personal as well and you'll find some guys here to be more liberal in their views than me. Then again, I have a nagging dislike for things as simple as revealing cleavage, belly button piercings, dyed hair, tattoos, and drug use.
Maybe you'd do better with a Brazilian Asian guy. I heard the Korean dudes there are pretty assimilated.

It doesn't meant that (just because a girl is wearing some nicely done make-up) she cannot be considered good "marriage material" and just assume she is out there to attract players..
I didn't address my comments specifically for eye shadow/makeup. I'm trying to explain why some guys would be intimidated (or better word is turned off) by extrapolated the trend and said that at some point there's too much makeup/looks enhancement.
Per my previous response, it's not that she's definitely not good marriage material, it's that the guy *sees her as* not good marriage material due to prejudices or cultural norms.
It's also a quick way to sort/judge based on female signaling. If I'm looking for a homely girl looking for marriage, I wouldn't go for someone all decked out. If I'm in the mood for a night of fun play, I'll actively seek those girls out.

Women still believe in prince charming that's why to them looks doesn't matter... as for Asian and Western culture... it should got into a concense or this website is pointless... plus... making money or not magazines give options to be adapted... a girl who follows them by the rules is brainless...
What I've notices around (not generalizing) is thay asians here are players and control freaks... want want to be loved by what you are... so love the same way in return...

Jan maybe you missed out on this: "Nevertheless light make up like foundation and thin eyeliner/eye shadow should be fine. But thick ones are quite scary. imho"

Like an old Brazilian saying "Spit over your head and it'll fall right on your forehead"
My opinion is... it doesn't matter the cover if you don't know the content

Belive me, some girls just don't look good in "natural" make up.
Imagine girls do make up to feel confident. Guys don't have make up to feel the same LOL!!

The attractive go-go upwardly mobile socialite is going to attract and be attracted to the hot high-status confident guy.
I do concede that just as not all girls want that glamorous look, not all guys here are shy/insecure/uncompetitive as well. I'm sure you'll find someone who appreciates your attempts to look good.
It's not really a contradiction. The media does beat up on AMs, which causes a lot of them to lose confidence. It doesn't mean that there is no one attracted to them at all, or else as you said there would be no one here.
And not every woman wants to look good all the time. Some get tired of drawing too much attention, especially when she's just trying to get work done. Imagine if it's practical going to the gym with makeup and heels.
But nowadays you have gym fashion magazines, how to look great with little make up, dress simple but in fashion, find your look having fashion advice... ALL women want to look good... if not wearing make up, dressing nicely and in fashion or havin their hair flawless...
Men did this with women and now are trying to convince them that it's ridiculous... when you see a young girl with an okd guy people assume is for money, when an old woman is with a young guy you assume she'd a cougar, if a girk dress in simple clothes they look too normal, when she dress up she's trying to get attention... stop right there!
You're trying to figure out something that you can't even understand propperly. Western girls like make up, like to go to the gym looking amazing (even in my Muay Thai classes there are girls looking their best). To dress up makes the girls feel good and confident about themselves...
Western vs eastern perspective. Magazine surely does all the dictating what is nice and what's not because they want to earn $$$ from consumers! This image is hidden for guests.

I can only say looks are as deep as skin deep. Yes it does not measure the marriagibity. However in the eyes guys (maybe only asian guys or only me) it gives that impression.
Right.... so most girls in the world are sluts cause they wear some kind of make up....
and you guys are prejudiced/hypocrite to think that, because I can assure you that most of the guys on this site wouldn't even give a second look to the girl in that second pic that Magicmarker posted.

Lol... I didn't say that. I said that some guys may view them that way due to how they present themselves. The world is a big place, and time is short. We don't have time to personally get to know everyone. So we have to quickly screen which people are most likely to be compatible and approach those select ones.
And I keep going back again to cultural differences and personal preferences. What may be appropriate dress/behaviour in one place may not be in another. In South America for example, some people thought I was a bit uptight because I wanted to see the cultural sites instead of going out to drink every night.
*shrug* You're obviously got a very pessimistic view of how people on this site behave. Serious men don't judge 100% based on looks.
