Excellent point.

I noticed that no one is defending the more outlandish requirements. That's good.

com'on ppl..we all know that all this is just for a laugh. who knows if that chinese doll actually exists or just was made up by some bored journalist? even if she does exist, i bet u 1 pound that she's not really gonna stick to whatever requirements she came up with. so i didn't even bother reading them. she's gonna end up with whoever makes her feel better anyway. even if she's gonna bother checking every man she dates against these ridiculous requirements, how is she gonna verify all that? hiring a private detective for every man she's gonna date?

If you have dozens of guys messaging you a day you don't really need to be all that realistic. It's like Las Vegas, but the odds are in your favor. I have a friend from Shanghai that has complained about similar things. He mentioned the "I would rather cry in a Mercedes than smile on the back of a bicycle" quote. Maybe it's hard to argue against that point , though.

This woman is so superficial, why would anyone want someone like that anyway?!

Depends on their level of desperation in China.

It's kind of interesting that the reaction to the article has gone down gender lines for the most part. Maybe it's a reflection of the mindset of those that choose and the ones that are chosen.

funny one

that'll interesting if someone who asking that much, she must be someone special or at least she is honest~

but unfortunately chinese women are not stu*id~i've only seen one who dare to asking for an husband like that, but it was a joke
to be honest~i am very picky as well, since my mother spoiled me up for over 18 years

"i can understand this girl"~and happy to see that ppl dear to catch what they're looking for.
i had absolutely no problem to meet this girl~but unfortunately we dont speak the same language,as i said the thing's that i'm picky about is heart~which is the most valuable thing to a person, well i mean for a normal ppl like me, god !!slap me before i talk too much`-`

anyway~i dont judge ppl just like that~why can't we picky ? :)

Someone i can have deep conversations with, is an old soul inside, but at the same time we act like children and forget about the world.
Someone that has a great sense of humor and can make me laugh, but at the same time knows what things have to be taken seriously.

Along with all this, someone that has strong morals and absolutely non-possessive.

My ideal person would be a person who's down to earth with his character and actions, depending on the situation. Also someone I can joke around with without feeling insulted. That's pretty boyish, heh. But my daily life is serious enough,so jokes won't hurt. Also being reliable, responsible, honest and loving would be good. I don't care that much about photoshopped people, but a descent appeareance wouldn't hurt. Taking part in the same activities and being smart is also a big + :D Since I'm pretty honest towards people and sometimes getting misunderstood, TALKING is the answer. Being smart means, to be able to response, to know about the actual world's situation, express feelings, talk when something is wrong etc. That's all. ö.ö

and omg I didn't know I would reply to this 8D! but here we go :3
