In my opinion, money can buy almost everything. Having a lot of money is probably the closest one can get to absolute satisfaction.

Money can buy you happiness in some ways but often you get bored of material objects after a few uses Nothing beats the feeling of doing a good deed in comparison to buying an expensive object. Money cannot buy you true love and true friendship. Sure you can get a gf and friends easily with money but they tend to be golddiggers and hangers on! Money cannot buy you good health forever sure it can prevent medical conditions and prevent death but in the end you are always going to die and you can't take money with you to the other side. I'd rather live my life knowing i've helped my fellow man than lived it to buy a nice house and car. The main goal of my life is to do something meaningful so when I die I know I'll have contributed something instead of chasing the money.

Money might not give you "true" friends. But let's think about it for a moment. What exactly will keep that friend being "true" to you? It's just a give/receive game. That person has to see some benefits in being friends with you, and therefore that person will stay "true" to you. If you have absolutely nothing to offer, then why would he/she be friends with you in the first place? Human beings are psychologically incapable of doing something that does not satisfy them somehow, either emotionally, or materialistically. Same with a girlfriend or boyfriend. They have to see some kind of benefits in being together with you. Emotionally or materialistically. And about the health thing, there are plenty rich people who ask to preserve their body, or part of it, so that when the technology finally comes that people can transfer conscience into a machine, then they will be transfer into a machine/robot, and thus live on. What is a person really? In my opinion, the memories and experiences of a person is the identity of that person. You can duplicate a person's look, but without the memories and the experiences, then that duplicate is forever a duplicate and a fake.

People like us must become doctors and lawyers and stuff to be rich and those are not easy jobs.

If we talking about ordinary people then yes being rich is pretty stressful

I know but after they have become rich, wouldn't they then live a lavish, fulfilling life?

Have u ever met anyone who said i used to be a doctor now im rich and am just living off the money?

which proves my point. the more money you have, the more leisure time you have, the happier you are.
