Why do women want to talk to me on Skype but when I say I don't have Skype they stop talking to me?

It is not shallow, it is smart. Maybe you are a 60 year old pedophile? Or a 300 pounds fat nerd? Maybe you are a 10 year old girl? Who knows? Skype is a quick an convenient way to establish some basic facts about a person.

Also, you have time to create the perfect answer via chat/mails. Maybe you are also creating the perfect lie? Also: who knows? Again, Skype is a quick and easy solution.

Of course, you can never be 100% sure if someone is who they say they are. But the chances of this still improve dramatically after a Skype session.

After a while, I will ask the girl for Skype, Facebook or a meet up. If she does not want to, it is a clear sign that she either has something to hide or is just looking for some person to chat with when she is bored. I don't have the time for either bullshit, thank you very much.

This website says it's to promote friendship and LOVE between 2 specific categories of people. We all know why the mass majority of people are here; yet, I don't know why many people deny that it was their reason. Maybe pride & insecurity. <- This is a small add-in directed at the users here... lol. Anyway, the reasons for this website's use leads to below.

The LOVE (sex, dating, etc) part. If that's the goal of many people, why would they want to text and private message with people every day? Would you like to see a picture of pizza or eat pizza? So, would you like to only see messages from someone you never met before, or would you like to actually see & converse with them via small video chat program?

ps. I'm very sorry if I'm wrong, but I initially was rolling my eyes at the subject line because it almost looks like it's a post made to brag or fish for compliments to be quite honest because the answer to that question seems obvious; and, from reading your other posts, I know you're not stupid. Skype=Video. So, basically, it could be reworded, "All these women want to see my face (and body), and stop talking to me if they don't get to have that pleasure." As I said, I was initially jumping to conclusions and judging after reading the post, but you have to admit that the subject comes off a bit questionable. And, like I said. It was where my mind immediately led & know it's not necessarily true; just being honest.

Here's my take, even though thadeusz probably doesn't care for my opinion.

The girl offered connection through Skype as a sign of interest. The show of interest was not reciprocated in the form of not having Skype and no sign of willing to get Skype to talk to her. The girl takes it as a sign of disinterest and moves on. Now if the attraction was stronger, she wouldn't stop there, but it's likely to happen in the case of curiosity or mild interest.
