Why do women want to talk to me on Skype but when I say I don't have Skype they stop talking to me?

Nowadays it's Instagram, they always ask for your Instagram lol

It seems the reason for asking for the Instagram is an idea that the person's Instagram account will kind of verify the person identify. They would have friends and family on the account and personal pictures. It makes you feel like you won't be catfish-ed or that they are less likely to be crazy if they have friends on their account...

Because theres no more Skype , Microsoft discontinued it early this month

*im know - sry for trying to play smart, this post is like ten yrs old so who would have known Skype no more in 2025

I mean why some of them ask to exchange numbers but wen I text them, they never text back! Who even ask for that, was it just to mess with ppl and leading ppl on? (Thats mess-up; ppl these days)

The guy who gave me his number never texted.
In a way it was nice he even gave me his number! It is less embarrassing than him saying no with others watching. But I don't like the hopefully feeling to be dropped
