Why do women want to talk to me on Skype but when I say I don't have Skype they stop talking to me?

They want to see your face when they speak to you, or at least hear your voice.
I also prefer speaking rather than texting. Its way easier and I can be doing other things at the same time. Texting ruins conversation and should be reserved for sending messages when speaking cannot be done. I don't mind sending messages to strangers or people I don't know, but if its at least a friendship I would prefer speaking over texting as well.

I'm going to be blunt here because we're all talking to each other through the internet so that means there's at least 1 person who isn't telling the truth about themselves. And that person is probably some 65+ year old fat Mexican truck driver with a hairy chest that can easily be mistaken as a fur coat. He's going to break a lot of hearts here when girls finds out he's not a 23 year old K-pop idol.

As already mentioned before, skype can be used for video chatting so maybe she wants to see who she's talking to. And not everyone here prefers to type on their phone/etc, it's unnatural for some girls so they prefer talking on skype.

Let's not forget, some girls are cautious so they want to check you out before they wait too long and find themselves in this kind of awkward situation.



Other times, she just wants to check you out and hear your voice while talking to you because that's what girls do *shrugs* I don't get it either, I'll get back to you on this one

I do wish those who are in charge of this website change their mind and allow me to become admin. One of the first things I’d implement is a blocking feature that would hide those posts from users I blocked. Also an anonymous feature so my questions aren’t met with bias.

u can't be an admin by being a totalitarian. u would definitely "fail"(as u like to use often) as one. why? since an admin shouldn't behave like an ass & inciting conflicts with any user who simply challenge or hold a different perspective. i mean if u don't want "bias" or only want people to agree with u then why even make a thread about it? it's for discussion & debate & exchange of pov. instead u started playing the "flaming game" so i played along with u in ur little silly game....& became the asshole that u so wanted me to be one....im generally a nice person & respect people who are nice & respectful but when u point ur ass at me...u cant expect me to smell ur fart & just take it right? but u know what...since u asked me nicely for ur request then i will do so i respond to kindness with greater kindness & i also respond to animosity with greater animosity. i cant respond in kindness when someone responds in animosity, im not jesus but anyway dont take it personal... i thought u were just messing around so i did the same with u. no need to cry to mods about it... if u cant take punishment then dont dish out.....it's the same like u dont go & punch a dude in the face when u cant take a punch or two....otherwise it'd be like bullying if u only behave like that when u htink u have the upperhand....i wouldnt want u to bug the mods either just to get this remove when u could have simply message me privately(which u didnt) the mods are nice people & i wouldnt want to add to their load just becuz u took things a little too seriously after u started that crap with me...if u dont want the quality of the discussion to deteriorate then try to keep calm & be constructive instead of resorting to personal attacks right off the bat. u can also structure ur topic in a more coherent manner. anyway thanks for asking nicely even if u dont mean it. i hope u laughed when u saw that pic

i agree & i like to add to this mr thaedus in a constructive way to help u.........when a girl takes an effort to take the initiative to ask u for ur contact (which is usually the role of a gentlemen)shes making a big effort on her part...especially when it's normally the other way around every other time.... so she decides to ask u since u only have half the brain & cant pick up her clues.....(yes im being harsh but in a good way this time) skype isnt a big deal & u wouldnt even do it after shes taken the initiative to ask u.....& u wouldnt even make an effort to take action to do something which basically takes no effort at all... something that takes like what 30 second to a minute or couple minute max to get..... it shows that u dont VALUE them. of course they would get tic off a bit.....girls need a man who can take action & u couldnt even accomplish something so basic like that how can they expect anything or depend on u for anything if ur even unwilling to take action to get to know them better? it's actually downright insulting to them too if u think about it....she wanted to get to know u better & u basically said no to her....... so I also didn't use to have skype. Then one day this girl outta no where, well not really outta no where Anyway so she wanted to talk on skype and I didnt even hav a clue what that is then but since Im really into her so before I knew it there goes my skype account freshly made.

what Im trying to get at is if thats is indeed ur situation, then it seems like ur not interested at them, or ur interested but just not all that interested and even at the friend lvl still seem like ur not all that sincere like idk now & how some of ppl are now-a-day and it shows/ppl can tell, I dun hav to be a sherlock to figure that if a girl dun rely my message then that means shes not interested tho my ego will probably say that she must have missed it or overlooked it, etc plus I think girls can pick that up almost right away, they are smart and know that ur not interested...and why would ppl give their phone number before giving their skype anyway...

Idk about the worst experience one can get with skype but mine is wen she deleted me but now that I look bak at it, perhaps its not a bad thing *shrug shoulders* complicated.
