Why do women want to talk to me on Skype but when I say I don't have Skype they stop talking to me?

Well dude, they want to see whether you're a genuine person and not some troll or fake. Remember skyping with complete strangers can be a bit risky considering the case that you never met the person in your life. Some people like me refuse to skype with total strangers due to safety reasons. I had girls asking me for skype address, I told them I don't use skype as often and I prefer chat. And as a result they stop talking to me, no surprise like what happened to you

Girl: hey i'd like to talk to you on Skype? Can i have your ID?
You: i don't have Skype
Girl: really?
You: yes
Girl: ok................................................... (pih pih the phone you're calling is out of coverage) bang!
Put this in your profile: i don't have Skype and i'm not a troll!! Damm!!

Maybe they want to see if you're real, and when you say "i don't have one" they assume you're fake ?

Okay, so I'm don't get the whole asking for Skype thing either. I myself just installed it. I guess to each his own on how the communicate. Chat, Skype... I'm good either way. But that is just me. It would be nice to think that ppl are actually honest in posting picts of themselves. And I get where they would kind of think twice before contacting you again if said person actually has Skype and won't Video chat or dances around questions. I've had that happen and well it just leaves a big fat question of "what is he hiding". But again if you you don't have Skype oh well. No reason to stop chatting.
