I didn't read all of your guys' replies... but her requirements really aren't that bad/picky. Some might be a little weird, but it's definitely not hard for an avg. guy to meet them. For real, every descent college grad. and their grandma is making over 50000 yuan in China and 172cm is really kinda short for a guy. So I don't get all the attention.

yeah that looks pretty descent for china standards. if you were a native resident of shanghai. your family would be pretty wealthy by now with the economic boom. value of land etc. and government pays alot of money for your land also pays for the relocation. chances of getting a good job in china with out a masters is pretty slim.
so what this girl is asking is basically a normal average guy. i can see why the rest of the world would look at it and think shes being demanding.

There's a third category; 'connection'.
They can have beauty and a great personality, but connection is this inexplicable spark that brings a "good" relationship to excellence.

As great as it is to have everything, having that connection and frequency is so hard to find, i'll just hang on to it if i find it

There is a high percentage that children take the appearance from their grandparents.....js

Traits that skip a generation (like hair loss)? What are some of the other genes that skip a gen?

Hell yeah! I want a good looking handsome man! I don't eat food that looks like already eaten....Why should I? And guys who write me in here or on any other site do that because they find me attractive and vice versa.
In all fairness, what is attractive to me must not be attractive to other. Sometimes, it can be something silly that attracts me to a person such as a great smile, a sexy "counselor" voice  :P or just because he/she makes me smile with their unbeatable humor.

i have to disagree the statement regarding that high percentage of children will take the appearance from their grandparents. Certain traits can carry over, but most of the time there's genetic recombination between maternal and paternal chromosomes which explains why some kids don't look like their parents at all. In the case where there's little recombination, the kids might look more like dad or mom depending on the expression of the chromosomes.

There are many traits that can skip generations; colorblindess, sickle cell, down syndrome, etc. It really depends on the parent's genetic makeup. The simplest way to explain traits that skip generation is something like this:
Grandpa (X/X) + Grandma (x/x)
Son: (X/x) Heterozygous + Son's wife (X/x)
Grandson 1: (X/X) Grandson 2: (X/x) Grandson 3: (x/x)

(X/X) = sickle cell
(X/x) = normal
(x/x) = Normal

Haha sorry for getting so into this.
From my point of view, physical appearance is huge part of selecting who I would date and anyone that says looks don't matter at all is lying or trying really hard to fight their "biological instinct". However, physical appearance can only go so far, after the initial attraction, it's all about the personality and connection. I
