For me, I have no desire for it. I don't care about luxuries, I'm content with the simple things in life. If I'm able to sustain myself and live happily with my family and friends, what more do I need? Yes, people who are poor or living on an average salary often say how nice it would be to win the lottery or have a bigger house or a nicer car, but they're just blinded by desire and want. Rich people have their share of problems as well.
I also cannot stand people who believe in the concept of materialism. If anything, those are the type of people who will end up killing the earth and humanity. It's horrible to think that this is what our society is built upon.
money sure makes it easier to obtain the things in life that will satisfy you and make you "happy" though. It doesn't have to be materialistic either. I mean how are you gonna argue that my girlfriend or wife is a gold digger or not? you can't. and therefore as long as I believe that my partner truly loves me, then it does not matter. Now what matter is drawing her in in the first place. well some people use good looks. others use charms. others use talking skills. and i use money.
The things I want to obtain, money truly can't buy. The only things I want are things only humanity can give me. Secondly, if you're girlfriend or wife is a gold-digger, it wouldn't be that hard to figure out, and if she is a gold-digger, she isn't going to love you in the first place. If you're relying on money to buy you the "love" type of happiness, you're gonna end up depressed. What's worse is your exploiting your weakness on here, making it easier for girls to take advantage of you. -.- I think this topic was made just to piss me off.
But what it all comes down to is the fact that you're still young. *pat, pat* Perhaps with some more life experiences and after taking a philosophy class, you will gain a better understanding. I'm just gonna walk away from this topic now that I've given my two cents.
dafuq? i don't even know you...
and so tell me. what are the things that you want to obtain? then we can discuss whether it can be bought or not. and it's not my weakness lol. I don't have a lot of money.

I use to think the same way when I was your age my man.
age comes with wisdom, I'm sure you will find out.
Its not just 1 thing that attract lovers, if so, they are very shallow.
A man needs to bring the whole package to maintain love. Trust me

satisfaction is to each their own. Just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just like a degree of problems, a kid might think its a big deal but an adult might think it's childish.
If you need money to bring you happiness and love they go for it.
That is your believe but it isn't necessary other's and vice versa.
the end.

LMAO!!! I spend less then 20 bucks on of my first GF and we had a very fun time together for a few season hahaha it was never about money to her.
Many girls often offer to pay for my meal but I usually refuse to let them. A girl once said, "I want to take care of you, you don't have to make a lot, just love me and be faithful...." sadly she was not my type or I would be married by now haha.
Girls have also left their boyfriendv(voluntary) who's buying her cell phones and big dinners and jewelry for simple old me before.
Just go out there and explore the world and you will find out.

well the point here isn't really about getting girlfriends and stuff. i'm just arguing that having more money ultimately makes you happier lol. and yes happiness does not require money. In fact, happiness only requires happiness. Money is not a requirement to be happy. But having lots of money sure makes happiness a little easier to get. And where is this girl and how can I find her?

Often, you will find rich people file for bankruptcy, or find them turn their lives upside down with drugs. The truth is, many people doesn't know how to handle money because it is such a big responsibility. As much good it can bring, it can also bring a lot of evil.
Yes but ultimately money can bring you happiness.
