I believe marriage is not a necessity however I personally do feel it's important.
In my eyes I see it as a formal way to tell the world I'm committed to this person and not to take my wedding vows lightly!

I believe that before people get married,they need to be at a healthy place in their lives..That means both sides having worked on their difficult issues and still do..So that they feel complete already without a partner,than when they get married and combine lifestyles,its just a plus..I am up for marriage,was married once,and it went wrong,so it ended in divorce..I do not take wedding vows lightly,sometimes the other person stops caring and changes entirely and the everything goes out the window.Trust may be violated,promises not kept,I value when i have a partner,sadly not everyone reciprocates..Marriage is no guarantee to a life of happiness if both are not mature and stable and at a healthy place in their lives.If both are dysfunctional or even one of the two are,the marriage could fall apart..So with that being said,like with everything,marriage is always a risk,that sometimes works out and sometimes not..I have considered getting married again but will wait and not rush into things..Love and marriage doesn't happen overnight..

For income tax purposes, yes, definitely.
My wife and I were happy as common law with a son, only got married because of the benefits of doing so for income taxes, not to mention our families saying we should.

Not important at all. There isn´t any good Man to bond the Rest of my Life with anyway, so screw that.
